Introduction to Vega Subscription Entitlements
Vega Subscription Entitlement APIs enable sharing of specific subscription IDs associated with sets of content the customer is entitled to. This document provides an overview of the Subscription Entitlement APIs and explains the data requirements for the Vega Subscription Entitlement feature.

What To send
For each trigger (see when to send), send event(s) with the fields below. There is no need to filter the data you send or check for duplicates. Amazon does this as necessary.
Field Name | Required (Y/N) | Description |
---|---|---|
Subscription ID | Y | Subscription ID as specified in the Catalog. |
Expiration Date | N | Timestamp for when this subscription entitlement expires. Absence implies no expiry. |
Acquisition Date | N | Timestamp for when the customer acquired the subscription |
When To send
- On initial app launch and sign-in.
- When the customer’s subscription changes.
- When asked to refresh by Fire TV’s on-device service.
