Fire TV Device Specifications: Overview
Fire TV device specifications for all models are provided here. The specifications provide more detail than the product pages on Amazon.com, as they're intended for developers building apps rather than for consumers. The Fire TV device family includes the following types of devices.

![]() Fire TV Edition Smart TVs |
Refers to smart TVs with Fire TV built into the TV hardware. Most smart TVs are manufactured by other companies, such as Toshiba, Insignia, Element, JVC, Grundig, etc. These third-party manufacturers incorporate Fire TV as the operating system for the TV. Many of the smart TVs are available only in certain marketplaces. The following smart TVs are available:

Refers to the cube form-factor of Fire TV devices. These devices offer far-field voice control (you don't have to push a microphone button or pair an Echo device to say voice commands). As such, these devices are a blend of the Echo and Fire TV. There are two generations of Fire TV Cube: |

Refers to versions of Fire TV that connect into an HDMI port with a stick form factor. There are main lines of Fire TV Sticks: 4K and non-4K. The non-4k stick has two generations (Gen 1 and Gen 2). There is also a Fire TV Stick "Basic Edition," without Alexa-enabled voice control, that ships to international marketplaces where other Fire TV Sticks aren't available.
