AWS re:Invent is a learning conference hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) for the global cloud computing community. The event will feature keynote announcements, training and certification opportunities, access to more than 2,500 technical sessions, a partner expo, after-hours events, and so much more.
Can’t attend AWS re:Invent, or want the inside scoop on sessions you missed? We’re now offering the option to tune in live on Twitch during re:Invent for interviews with Alexa speakers. You’ll hear from technical evangelist, product team members, and engineers who will share session recaps, their experience at re:Invent, and best practices for building with voice. Every year, the Alexa Skills Kit (ASK) grows in capabilities and features. In this state of the union, we discuss the latest trends in conversational artificial intelligence, highlight some of the most innovative skills, and provide an overview of everything that has been released in the past year for ASK.
- Improving Customer Retention for Your Alexa Skill
Retaining your customers is both an art and a science. In this session, you will discover the mechanisms you can use to keep your customers coming back for more. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, and discuss ideas among fellow skill developers.
- Building Robots That Respond to Voice
Learn how you can control robots with your voice through the Alexa Skills Kit. In this workshop, we will live-code with the Robot Operating System (ROS) and AWS RoboMaker to build an intelligent robotic application that responds to our voice commands and navigates autonomously in a simulated environment.
- How to Build Alexa Skills with AWS Database & Storage Services
Learn how to leverage AWS database and storage services effectively in your Alexa skill.
