Interface IView9

interface IView9
Extends IView8 This interface extends IView8 with the ability to set an image filter for the view. Like its predecessors, all methods of this interface must be called from the UI thread.

Methods

setImageFilter()

void setImageFilter(com.amazon.kepler.uitoolkit.graphics.IImageFilter* filter)
Sets an IImageFilter on the view. Applies the given image filter to the view’s content and children excluding opacity, which is applied on top of the filtered content. For spatial filters like blur and drop-shadow bounds expansion is done to accommodate the spatial effects. If a child view already has an image filter set, the child’s filter is applied first, and the parent’s filter is then applied on top. Each call overrides the previously set filter. To apply multiple effects, construct a chained IImageFilter before calling this method.

Parameters

filter
com.amazon.kepler.uitoolkit.graphics.IImageFilter* — Required The IImageFilter instance to be applied.

clearImageFilter()

void clearImageFilter()
Clears the image filter from the view which was set using IView9::setImageFilter. If no image filter was set, then this method will have no effect.
