Interface IView5
interface IView5
Extends IView4
This interface extends IView4 with additional functionalities to
manage the selected state of this view.
Like its predecessors, all methods of this interface must be called from the UI thread.
Methods
setSelected()
Sets the selected state of this view. Selected state indicates the view is explicitly chosen or active irrespective of user interaction. Note :voidsetSelected(boolselected)
- Selection is not the same as focus.
- The effect of the selected state is view-specific. View implementations define their own styling or behavioral responses when this state changes.
- Currently, selected state is only supported for
ITextView, where the marquee animation is enabled if the selected state is true.
Parameters
selected
bool — Required
true to set the view as selected, false to unset it.
isSelected()
bool isSelected()
Returns whether this view is currently in the selected state.
Refer IView5::setSelected for more details.
Returns
bool
true if the view is selected, false otherwise.
