Interface IScrollableView3
interface IScrollableView3
Extends IScrollableView2
IScrollableView3 interface extends IScrollableView2 and defines new methods for scrollable components for controlling scrollbar fading, scrollbar visibility, texture caching, scroll inversion and scrolling functionality.
Methods
setScrollbarFadingEnabled()
Enables or disables scrollbar fading. This method controls the visibility behavior of the scrollbar. When fading is enabled, the scrollbar will automatically fade out after a period of inactivity, providing a cleaner visual experience. When fading is disabled, the scrollbar remains persistently visible at all times. Use this method to toggle between auto-hide and always-visible scrollbar modes based on your application’s UX requirements.voidsetScrollbarFadingEnabled(boolfadingEnabled)
Parameters
fadingEnabled
bool — Required
Set to true to enable fading behavior (auto-hide), or false for
always visible scrollbar. The default value is true.
isScrollbarFadingEnabled()
bool isScrollbarFadingEnabled()
Checks whether the scrollbar fading is enabled.
Returns whether the scrollbar will automatically fade out after a period of inactivity.
When fading is enabled, the scrollbar auto-hides for a cleaner visual experience.
When disabled, the scrollbar remains persistently visible.
Returns
bool
true if scrollbar fading is enabled, false otherwise.
setScrollbarEnabled()
Enables or disables the scrollbar. This method controls the visibility of the scrollbar. When enabled, the scrollbar will be displayed when scrolling. When disabled, the scrollbar will not be shown.voidsetScrollbarEnabled(boolenabled)
Parameters
enabled
bool — Required
Set to true to enable the scrollbar, or false to disable it.
The default value is true.
isScrollbarEnabled()
bool isScrollbarEnabled()
Checks whether the scrollbar is enabled.
Returns whether the scrollbar is currently enabled and will be displayed
during scrolling.
Returns
bool
true if the scrollbar is enabled, false otherwise.
setTextureCacheEnabled()
Enables or disables texture cache. When enabled, the view’s rendered content is cached as a GPU texture, allowing the compositor to reuse it across scroll frames without re-rasterizing. This improves scroll rendering performance for views with complex or expensive content. It is disabled by default. Note: Enabling texture cache increases GPU memory usage. It should be enabled only on static content.voidsetTextureCacheEnabled(boolenabled)
Parameters
enabled
bool — Required
True to enable texture cache, false to disable.
isTextureCacheEnabled()
bool isTextureCacheEnabled()
Returns whether texture cache is enabled.
Returns
bool
True if texture cache is enabled, false otherwise.
setInverted()
Sets if the scroll direction should be inverted. This method controls whether the scroll direction is inverted along the configured axis. When inverted, scrolling behavior is reversed: dragging down scrolls up (for vertical), or dragging right scrolls left (for horizontal). This is useful for implementing right-to-left layouts or specialized UI patterns where inverted scrolling is desired. Note: Setting it to true will display the scroll view from the ending item.voidsetInverted(boolinverted)
Parameters
inverted
bool — Required
True for inverting the axis, else false. The default value is false.
isInverted()
bool isInverted()
Checks if the scroll axis is inverted.
Returns
bool
True if the axis is inverted, false otherwise.
setScrollEnabled()
Enables or disables scrolling for the scrollable view. This method directly controls whether the scrollable view can be scrolled by the user. When disabled, all scroll interactions (touch, pointer, keyboard) are blocked.voidsetScrollEnabled(boolenabled)
Parameters
enabled
bool — Required
True to enable scrolling, false to disable. The default value is true.
isScrollEnabled()
bool isScrollEnabled()
Checks if scrolling is enabled.
Returns
bool
True if scrolling is enabled, false otherwise.
