Set up your development environment

To develop apps and games for Amazon platforms, you need install and configure an IDE and any Amazon APIs that you want to use. You should also ensure that you have a way to test the apps and games you develop. The resources on this page describe how to perform these tasks for each of the Amazon device platforms.
