With the launch of GameOn came the opportunity to try the service for free. That limited time offer is running out and beginning July 1, 2018, your AWS account will be billed for GameOn usage. The good news? GameOn still has a free tier of 35,000 score submissions each month (see our pricing page for information).

We need you to link your GameOn games with your AWS account, and we will take care of the rest. But, make sure to link your games before July 19, 2018 to ensure continued access to the GameOn APIs.

How to connect your games to your AWS account

Here are the four steps to link your GameOn games and AWS account. Before you begin, make sure you have admin access to your AWS account and that you have your 12-digit AWS account number handy.

1. Use your Amazon login credentials to log in to the GameOn Portal.

2.  From the admin console, click the Game settings tab. Here, you'll see a list of your games.

3. Click Link AWS Account in the Actions column. You'll get a dialog box requesting your AWS account number. Enter your 12-digit AWS account number here and click the Send Verification Code button.

4. The next page will verify your AWS account. Referring to the screenshot below, click the link in step 1 to sign into the S3 console. Then click the link in step 2 to retrieve your verification code from S3. Paste the code into the box in step 3 and click Verify Account.

Be sure to do this for each of your games.

Registering a new game

When you register a new game with GameOn, you'll go through a three-step process that includes linking the game to your AWS account. Please have your 12-digit AWS account number ready.

1. Enter your company/developer name and the game’s working title (it doesn’t have to be the final title, but this is what will show up in your GameOn management console).
    
2. Next, you'll be asked for your AWS account number. Enter your 12-digit AWS account number here and click the Send Verification Code button.
    
3. The next page will verify your AWS account. Click the link in step 1 to sign into the S3 console. Then click the link in step 2 to retrieve your verification code from S3. Paste the code into the box in step 3 and click Verify Account.
