“Guests at Wynn Las Vegas can use Alexa to control lights, curtains, set temperature, request housekeeping service and we also customized Alexa interactions specifically for the property. We saw 49,000 utterances in the first two months of custom interactions being added.” said the Director of Business Development at RAIN, the firm responsible for developing Wynn’s custom skill.
In the first two months of custom skill deployment, there were nearly 5,000 utterances for on-property bars and restaurants at Wynn Las Vegas.
Intuitive digital technologies like Alexa, let guests take advantage of the full experience under one roof that a property offers. Alexa can help connect guests to the things that they are interested in and help them to explore and enjoy more time on property.
In the first two months of custom skill deployment, there were more than 12,000 utterances inquiring about operating hours.
“Our front desk and concierge staff are always available and happy to assist guests personally, but for those who prefer, Alexa is yet another amenity we can offer for their ease and convenience.” said Alex Robinson Hinkle, VP of Marketing, Wynn Las Vegas.
66.8% of the 40,000+ guest survey respondents said they prefer a room with Alexa.
“Beautiful hotel and casino. The beds are extremely comfortable and rooms are large and clean. The rooms are also modern with Alexa to help with lighting, drapes, room HVAC controls, and also letting you know the weather and playing music from either iHeartRadio or your own selection through Bluetooth.” said a guest of the Wynn.
