English to Spanish Dynamic Language Switching

Dynamic language switching enables guests, residents and staff to converse with Alexa in English or Spanish and Alexa will respond in the language Alexa heard. Users can talk to Alexa in either language without having to change any settings. Solution Providers need to select dual languages at setup to enable this feature.

Private and secure

Alexa for Hospitality was built with guest privacy in mind. Guests’ voice recordings are not saved. No personal information needs to be shared with Alexa to use the device.

Customize Visual Experiences on Devices with Screens

Echo Devices with Screens allows hospitality, senior living, and other properties to display information about your property, enable room service ordering using touch-screen and voice, or display events at the property.

Alexa for Hospitality offers two visual experiences:   

Rotating cards: are visual content on the screen of an Echo Show device. Today these show content like weather, news, sports highlights, and suggested skills. Rotating cards are great for content, which is not urgent.

Pinned cards: will stay on the screen until dismissed by the user or the expiration time has been reached. You can use the Pinned Card APIs to publish information that is important for the user to see.

New accessibility API

Alexa for Hospitality also offers new accessibility APIs. With these APIs you can enable accessibility settings on behalf of your guests and residents to improve their experience. These settings include captions, screen magnifier, and color inversion.  

How it works

Alexa for Hospitality allows you to deploy and manage Alexa enabled devices and experiences at scale with Frustration-Free Setup and Alexa APIs. Through Alexa APIs, you can assign devices to properties, enable Alexa skills, create a customized guest experience, and more. 

Alexa for Hospitality works with most hospitality software solutions and provides you the option of managing devices through a centralized console.

Easy to deploy and manage

You can easily provision thousands of Echo devices quickly, and connect them to your account using APIs or the Alexa for Hospitality console. You can specify device settings like language, check if the device is online, and remotely reset devices to prepare for the next guest.

Alternatively, you can manage multiple Echo devices and automatically connect them to your account through a centralized console.

Easy to order

Alexa for Hospitality works with Amazon Echo, Echo Plus, Echo Dot, and coming soon, Echo Show.  Echo devices can be ordered in bulk through Amazon Business using the account you use to sign up for Alexa for Hospitality.
