Dynamic Language Switching

Dynamic language switching enables guests, residents and staff to converse with Alexa in English or the local language. Alexa will respond in the language Alexa has heard and users can speak to Alexa in either language without having to change any settings. Solution providers must select dual languages in the settings to enable this feature.

Customised Visual Experiences on Echo Show Devices

Echo Show Devices allows Hospitality, Senior Living, and other properties to display information about your property, enable room service ordering using touch-screen and voice, or display events at the property. 

Alexa for Hospitality offers two visual experiences : 


Rotating cards :
are visual content on the screen of an Echo Show device. Today these show content like weather, news, sports highlights, and suggested skills. Rotating cards are great for content, which is not urgent.

Pinned cards : will stay on the screen until dismissed by the user or the expiration time has been reached. You can use the Pinned Card APIs to publish information that is important for the user to see.
 

Alexa for Hospitality also offers accessibility APIs. With these APIs you can enable accessibility settings on behalf of your guests and residents to improve their experience. These settings include captions, screen magnifier, and color inversion.
