Simplification of Alexa Voice Service Program Terms

We’re always looking for ways to make using the Alexa Voice Service Program easier for developers. As part of these efforts, we’ve amended the Alexa Voice Service Agreement by combining it with the "Amazon Developer Services Agreement," the same agreement that covers other Amazon Developer Services like Skills and Apps (formerly called the "App Distribution and Services Agreement"). Effective May 24, 2018, the Amazon Developer Service Agreement applies to your participation in the Alexa Voice Service Program. You can find the Amazon Developer Services Agreement here.

Alexa Voice Service Program Requirements

These Program Requirements are part of the Amazon Developer Services Agreement (the "Agreement"). Capitalized terms used, but not defined, in these Program Requirements have the meanings given in the Agreement. You must ensure that you and all of your AVS Products and AVS Components (if applicable) comply with these Program Requirements at all times. These Program Requirements will continue to apply for so long as the Alexa Service is available through your AVS Products or AVS Components.
