Update 22/11/2019: We've updated the Terms and Conditions to close Tier 1 through 3 to new submissions. Skill submissions received prior to 18/11/2019 and which otherwise comply with the Terms and Conditions shall remain eligible for the Tier 1 promotional benefit.  Skill submissions received prior to 22/11/2019 and which otherwise comply with the Terms and Conditions shall remain eligible for the Tier 2-3 promotion benefits.

• Offer valid for developers who publish Alexa skills according to the Tier prerequisites outlined below between 15 May 2019 at 12:01 am (British Summer Time) and 30 November 2019 at 11:59 pm (GMT) (the “promotion period”).
• This promotion is only available to residents in the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, Italy and Spain. You may only apply to Alexa promotions in the country you reside in regardless of which skill store your skill is published to. Developers who apply to an Alexa promotion outside of the country they reside in will be ineligible for all current Alexa promotions.
• Developers can win prizes when they satisfy the requirements of at least one of the Tiers outlined below. The skill must be live and available in the Amazon Alexa Skill Store during the promotion period.
• Developers can only win one prize per Tier during the promotion period.

  • Tier 1: Developers who publish their first, new Alexa skill between 15 May 2019 at 12:01 am (British Summer Time) and 18 November 2019 at 11:59 pm (GMT) and otherwise comply with the terms of the offer will receive an Amazon Echo Dot voucher in the form of a promotional code. The promotional code will be distributed via e-mail.
  • Tier 2: Developers who publish three new Alexa skills between 15 May 2019 at 12:01 am (British Summer Time) and 22 November 2019 at 11:59 pm (GMT), where one is used by at least 75 unique users during the promotion period, and who otherwise comply with the terms of the offer, will receive an Amazon Echo Show 5 voucher in the form of a promotional code. The promotional code will be distributed via e-mail.
  • Tier 3: Developers, who publish a new skill using Alexa Presentation Language or update an existing Alexa skill by adding Alexa Presentation Language between 15 May 2019 at 12:01 am (British Summer Time) and 22 November 2019 at 11:59 pm (GMT) and generate more than 150 unique users during the promotion period, and otherwise comply with the terms of the offer, will receive an Amazon Echo Show voucher in the form of a promotional code. The promotional code will be distributed via e-mail. A skill uses Alexa Presentation Language when the skill renders at least one APL document.
  • Tier 4: Developers, who publish a new skill using in-skill purchasing or update an existing Alexa skill by adding in-skill purchasing within the promotion period and generate more than 150 unique users during the promotion period, and otherwise comply with the terms of the offer, will receive a voucher for the AWS Certified Alexa Skill Builder exam fee (value of $300).
• Promotion benefits will be distributed via e-mail. Winners will receive their prizes at least 60 days after the skill meets the Tier requirements. 
  
• The Offer may not be combined with other Alexa promotions running during the promotion period, with the exception of Alexa Skills Challenges.
• Developers who submit to any Alexa promotion in the same or any other country will be disqualified from all Alexa promotions during the promotion period.
• Developers must complete the form above to qualify for the offer.
• Developers must have an account on the Amazon Apps & Games Developer Portal and accept the Amazon Developer Service Agreement to be eligible for the offer.
• The skill must be submitted through the Developer portal, must comply with our Certification Guidelines, and must be approved by Amazon for publication.
• This offer is limited to one promotion benefit per person per Tier. We will not accept multiple applications from any one email address per Tier, Skill ID, Developer account, or physical address. If multiple applications are received, the last one submitted will be awarded any promotion benefit earned.
• Amazon reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer at any time. If we cancel the program, before the promotion period has ended, we will still fulfill all developers who registered to the promotion before that point.
• Promotion benefits are non-transferable and cannot be resold or redeemed for cash.
• Amazon reserves the right to disqualify a developer from receiving Offer benefits if Amazon determines in its sole discretion that any fraudulent activity has being carried out for the purpose of qualifying for this promotion.
• Employees of Amazon or its affiliates are not eligible to participate.
• If you violate any of these terms, the Amazon Developer Services Agreement or any of our Program Policies, the offer will be invalid.

Please allow 60 days after the skill has met the Tier 1, 2, 3 or 4 requirements to receive your Alexa promotion benefit. If you have not received your promotion benefit within 90 days after your eligible skill has been published, please submit a help ticket.
