Summary and additional resources
Multimodal is the inclusion of other forms of communication, such as visual aids, to the voice experience that Alexa already provides. Multiple representations of the design of multimodal skills, in the form of user stories and flowcharts, help you in development. They are useful artifacts that you must maintain and refer back to during the development lifecycle. Your key to success in multimodal skill development is to identify when and why to use visuals to complement voice.
