Interface IPathBuilder2

interface IPathBuilder2
Extends IPathBuilder IPathBuilder2 interface extends IPathBuilder and defines new methods for appending arcs to the path being constructed.

Methods

arcTo()

void arcTo(Point radiusOfOval, float xAxisRotate, ArcSize largeArc, WindingDirection sweep, Point xy)
Appends an arc from the path’s last point to Point xy. The arc lies on an ellipse with radii (radiusOfOval.x, radiusOfOval.y) rotated by xAxisRotate degrees; largeArc and sweep select one of the four possible arcs between the two endpoints. If either component of radiusOfOval is zero, or if the path’s last point equals xy, a line is appended to xy instead. Negative components of radiusOfOval are treated as their absolute values. If both components of radiusOfOval are greater than zero but too small to span the chord between the path’s last point and xy, the radii are scaled uniformly so that the arc just fits. The arc sweep is always less than 360 degrees.

Parameters

radiusOfOval
Point — Required radii of the ellipse on the x and y axes before rotation, packed as a Point where x is the x-axis radius and y is the y-axis radius.
xAxisRotate
float — Required rotation of the ellipse’s x-axis in degrees; positive values are clockwise.
largeArc
ArcSize — Required selects the smaller or the larger of the two possible arcs. ArcSize
sweep
WindingDirection — Required selects clockwise or counterclockwise traversal. WindingDirection
xy
Point — Required absolute end Point of the arc.

arcToWithBounds()

void arcToWithBounds(Rect* boundingBox, float startAngle, float sweepAngle, bool forceMoveTo)
Appends an arc that lies on the ellipse bounded by boundingBox, traversing from startAngle through sweepAngle. Angles are measured in degrees from the positive x-axis (3 o’clock); a positive sweepAngle extends the arc clockwise. Angles greater than -360 and less than 360 are treated modulo 360.

Parameters

boundingBox
Rect* — Required bounds of the ellipse containing the arc. Rect
startAngle
float — Required starting angle of the arc in degrees; zero corresponds to 3 o’clock.
sweepAngle
float — Required sweep, in degrees. Positive values extend the arc clockwise.
forceMoveTo
bool — Required if true, begins a new contour at the arc’s initial point; if false, appends a line from the path’s previous last point to the arc’s initial point.
