What happens when you remove your app
Removal of your app from the Amazon Cloud App Program is fully self service. However, after your app is removed, reinstatement requires approval from Amazon.Availability on other devices
Removing your app from the Amazon Cloud App Program does not affect your app’s availability to other devices in the Appstore. If you remove your app from cloud app streaming, it continues to be available to other Fire OS devices through regular Appstore distribution.Impact on existing customers
Removing your app from the Amazon Cloud App Program does not affect your current customers who have already installed the app. Subject to Amazon’s option to decide otherwise, customers are able to continue to use it as before. To have your app removed from cloud app streaming for your existing customers, reach out to Developer Support and select the category that best matches your issue. To remove your app from Amazon cloud app streaming, follow these steps:- Verify that the person suppressing the app version has administrator privileges. Other users can see the Remove from Appstore option, but only administrators have the option enabled. For information about roles and permissions, see Manage Your Amazon Developer Account and Permissions.
- Open the app’s listing in the Developer Console using an account with administrator privileges. Go to the App status screen for the current version of your app.
- On the top right, click Remove your App.
- In the submenu, click Remove from Cloud App Program.
- In the pop-up dialog, supply the Reason for removal along with any Additional comments, and click OK.
- Confirm the removal in the second pop-up dialog. Because this action is nonrecoverable, click Confirm only when you are ready. Otherwise, click Cancel.
