You can think about two types of marketing for your app: detail page content and assets, which customers see once they've already decided to learn more about your apps; and traffic drivers, those marketing assets or opportunities that drive new customer eyes to your apps, like featured marketing placements.     Your detail page, screenshots, and video are your chances to sell your app to potential customers. What would you tell a friend who is learning about your app for the first time?   • Promotional Images

    Uploading a promotional graphic allows the Amazon team to introduce your app to customers in a colorful way, using one image to generate excitement about your app. Consider creating a promotional image to take advantage of new marketing placements for this purpose.   • Localized Marketing Content

    Amazon highly recommends you translate your content to ensure customers in different countries have an easier time discovering and using your apps, IAP items, and subscriptions. Developers can also localize their apps by adding marketplace-specific pricing as well as app titles and descriptions. Traffic Drivers

  • Featured Placement Request

    We constantly strive to introduce Amazon customers to new apps they'll love, thus helping our developers grow their businesses. We highlight apps through our storefronts on mobile devices, Kindle Fire, and Amazon.com and through marketing vehicles like e-mail, Facebook, and Twitter. For example, featured placements could include "Highly Rated Apps and Games" and "Featured New Releases," and your app would be considered for these placements, as applicable. Your app may also be considered for seasonally relevant placements such as summer travel, back to school, or holiday apps.     Don't forget to tell your customers that your app is available on Amazon! Driving traffic to Amazon gives interested customers a place to research and purchase your app. Leverage badges to link potential purchasers from your website to Amazon to learn more about your app.
