Solutions for Creating Smart Products using the Alexa Connect Kit
You can use the solutions listed on this page to accelerate your product development process with ACK.
When you build an ACK-based device, you choose a development kit to prototype your Alexa-connected product. The ACK development kit and developer documentation enable you to quickly set up ACK-based connectivity and Alexa voice control.
For production, you choose the ACK module to manufacture.
On this page:
Prototype your device using the ACK SDK for Matter, and then design your hardware with an Amazon-qualified SoC for manufacturing. With Matter, Alexa and other Matter-certified smart home assistants can control your device locally, which can reduce latency and improve reliability.
ESP32-C3F development board with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Mesh (BLE).
Use development kits with the Beken chip from Beken's ODM partners.
The ACK SDK for Matter is supported on Espressif’s ESP32-C3 and ESP8685 modules with a 4MB-minimum flash.
Beken has integrated the ACK SDK for Matter solution into its BK7235 chip.

Prototype your device using the ACK Module solution, and then design your hardware with an Amazon-qualified SoC for manufacturing.
The ACK development kits come with a custom development board with an integrated ACK module that provides connection with Alexa and the ACK managed services, and communicates with your device’s host microcontroller unit (HMCU).
The ACK development kit by Espressif includes a development board with integrated ESP32-V3-based ACK module and a sample HMCU. Arduino Zero development board sold separately.
Microchip SAM D21 Curiosity Nano is a platform to evaluate the SAMD21G17D MCU supported by MPLAB® X IDE and MPLAB Harmony v3 software framework, containing an On-Board Nano Debugger for programming and debugging.
The NuStamp-ACK-M031LE module consists of two parts, the Nuvoton NuMicro® M031LE3AE microcontroller and Amazon Alexa Connect Kit (ACK) connectivity module.
