interface ISeekableStream
Extends com.amazon.apmf.IStandard Not implemented. This content describes future functionality. Defines common functionality for seeking within a stream. (network and compression streams are not seekable)

seek()

i64 seek(i64 offset, SeekWhence whence)
Not implemented. This content describes future functionality. Repositions the stream to a new location.

Parameters

offset
i64 — Required The offset from the whence position to seek to.
whence
SeekWhence — Required The reference point used to determine the new position.

Returns

i64 The new position from the beginning of the file.

​
Throws

  • NotSeekableError — when an attempt is made to seek in a stream, that does not support seeking, like a network or compression stream.
  • IoError — when error occurs during seeking.
