I am excited to announce that Alexa Live, Amazon’s event for the Alexa developer community, will return on Wednesday, July 21, with a free, virtual experience.
Alexa Live is an event for Alexa skill builders, device makers, startups, and business leaders eager to learn about the power of ambient computing and the latest advancements in voice technology. It’s my favorite time of the year because we not only get to showcase the latest product advancements, but also celebrate our diverse developer community—all of you who are innovating everyday on behalf of customers. As many of you noticed last year, it’s also my birthday, and I can’t imagine a better way to ring in another year than to catch up and hear your inspiring stories.
As an attendee, you will hear from Amazon leaders in a keynote presentation, and choose from dozens of breakout sessions, demos, and panels focused on driving business growth, improving productivity, and delivering more delightful customer experiences.
You may hear us talk often about Amazon’s vision for ambient computing—but what does this mean? We believe ambient computing technology should always be available to make life easier and better for customers—without getting in their way. Our vision is for Alexa to be an ambient assistant that is proactive, personal, and predictable—and it’s our mission to make Alexa available to delight customers everywhere they want her to be. The Alexa developer community is critical to helping us achieve our mission, and we’re focused on helping you create great customer experiences, drive growth for your skills and devices, and making it easier to develop for Alexa.
Last year, Alexa Live brought together members of the Alexa developer community from all over the world for a jam-packed, half-day event that featured dozens of new developer tools and features to help unlock more natural experiences for customers and increase traffic, scale, and ROI for developers.
