Appium uses the automation toolkit to run user interface (UI) tests on your Fire TV Stick or Vega Virtual Device. This page shows you how to set up the testing environment.

Prerequisites:

  1. Complete the steps in Install Appium for Vega Integration.
  2. Set up Fire TV Stick or Vega Virtual Device.

Set up Appium

Before you can run your tests using Appium, complete the following steps:
  1. Start the Appium server.
  2. Create a file to enable the automation toolkit on a Fire TV Stick or Vega Virtual Device.
