Struct QiFlags

sealed struct QiFlags

Constants

RETURN_UNKNOWN_FLAGS

i32 = 1<<0
If a TryQueryInterface implementation doesn’t recognize the flags, return the unrecognized flags ORed with the low bit cast to an IStandard* --- a return value that’s otherwise illegal because all APMF2 interface pointers must be word-aligned. This protocol allows callers to recognize that a QI implementation doesn’t recognize some flags and to try again. If this bit isn’t set and tryQueryInterface() fails to recognize a set of flags, it’ll just throw.

MOVE_REFERENCE

i32 = 1<<1
Consume a reference count. Allows QI without a net change in reference count, avoiding an expensive atomic operation that might be unnecessary in a certain context. If a reference count was in fact consumed, tryQueryInterface()‘s returned pointer has MOVE_REFERENCE bitwise-ORed into the returned pointer.
