Interfaces

  • ITextStyle — interface which defines set of styles that can be applied to the text such as color, decoration etc.
  • ITextStyleSpan — This interface defines methods for working with text style spans, which apply specific text styles to a range of text.
  • IAttributedText — The structured form of text with zero or more spans(ranges of characters in the text) that can style areas of it differently
  • InputUiStatus — Represents the status of the keyboard window UI.
  • SurroundingText — Represents the contextual content in editor in the app.
  • Candidate — Represents a candidate word showing on candidate bar.
  • EditorInfo — Represents the properties of the editor.
  • IInputUiListener — Provides a listener that is notified when there are changes to the input UI. The listener is called from the looper that you specified when you called the connect function of IIMService. If the looper is not specified, the value of connect is null, the listener is called from an arbitrary implementation-supplied thread.
  • ISpellCheckResultListener — Provides a listener that receives the spell check results. The listener is called from the looper that you specified when you called the connect function of IIMService. If the looper is not specified, the value of connect is null, the listener is called from an arbitrary implementation-supplied thread.
  • IOnceClosure — Provides a closure that is executed in the looper provided in a IIMClientLooper object. When you call the enqueue method to pass an instance of a once to your looper, you must store a reference to the instance in your lamba method in the looper to avoid having it released by the framework. For more information, see the Connect and disconnect the keyboard section in the user guide.
  • IIMClientLooper — Provides functionality that allows the app to schedule an editing operation to be executed by the IMClient instance.
  • IConnectionListener — Provides a listener to receive service connection events. The listener is called from an arbitrary implementation-supplied thread.
  • IIMClient — Provides callbacks to receive the editing requests and callbacks made by the keyboard service.
  • IIMService — Provides functionality make keyboard service requests.
  • IIMModule — Represents the main entry point of the module.

Structs

  • TextDecoration — Struct for defining a horizontal line to be drawn on the text. Multiple decorations can be applied at once. Ex: Underline and overline is UNDERLINE (1) | OVERLINE (2) For combining decorations, use bitwise OR. For example:
  • Color — RGBA color which fits the format of colors having Alpha, Red, Green and Blue Channels. Each channel is represented as a float in the range 0.0 to 1.0. If a channel value is less than 0.0, it is clamped to 0.0. If a channel value is greater than 1.0, it is clamped to 1.0.
  • InputType — Represents the kind of information that an input field is intended to receive. The input type is a member of the editorInfo object that controls the type of input that the editor accepts in an input field. For example, an email address or phone number.
  • InputFlag — Represents the input experience that you want the editor to present.
  • AutoCapMode — Represents auto-capitalization behaviors that you want the editor to present.
  • InputAction — Represents the actions that are triggered when a user clicks the action keys. Clients can specify a code that is different from the pre-defined codes.
  • InputUiMode — Represents the keyboard UI modes.
  • Theme — Represents the theme you want the editor to present.
  • Capability — Represents the interaction with the keyboard that a client editor supports.
  • Rect — Represents four pixel coordinates that define rectangle on the device.
  • TextRange — Represents a range of text segment. The segment is a closed-open interval ([begin, end)).
  • InputFieldId — Represents a developer-provided identifier to differentiate between different input fields.
