ItemScalingType: "low_upscale" | "medium_upscale" | "large_upscale" | "low_downscale" | "large_downscale" | "text" | "image" Types of items that can be scaled. Different types of objects scale at different rates.

Values

  • low_upscale
  • medium_upscale — The item being scaled is somewhat readable or understandable at the default
  • large_upscale — The item being scaled is difficult to read or understand at smaller sizes, and has room to grow on the screen. Examples include navigation buttons or switches.
  • low_downscale — The item being scaled should be reduced in size at higher scale settings. This is used for whitespace and padding, to allow more space for larger visual elements on screen.
  • large_downscale — The item being scaled should be reduced dramatically in size at higher scale settings. This is used for very large padding.
  • text — The item being scaled is text or a line height.
  • image — The item being scaled is an image. Note that large images may not scale up.
