IOS submit and distribute your app

When you are ready to submit your app to the iTunes store, refer to this page for guidance. Make sure you have already followed the instructions in the Developer Launch Checklist in [Test Your App][mobile-ads/mb-ios-test-your-app]. This checklist will help you detect integration issues prior to app submission.

Advertising Identifier Terms

When submitting your app through iTunes, Apple requires that you answer questions about the use of certain advertising features in iOS: Apple’s identifier for advertising (IDFA) and the Limit Ad Tracking setting. When answering these questions, we recommend that you take into account the use of these features by the Amazon Mobile Ad Network. Here’s how you would answer based solely on the use of these features by the Amazon Mobile Ads API

Does this app use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA)? - Yes This app uses the advertising Identifier to (select all that apply) Serve advertisement within the app - Yes Attribute this app installation to a previously served ad - Yes Attribute an action taken within this app to a previously served advertisement - No Honor the "Limit Ad Tracking setting in iOS" - Yes Uses IDFA other than for ‘limited advertising purposes’ as defined in the iOS Developer terms – No Please note that you will need to answer these questions based on your use of these features throughout your app (and not based solely on your use of the Amazon Mobile Ads API). Therefore, the correct answers for your app – particularly with respect to the last three questions – may vary from the answers above.
