More Than 40 Alexa Sessions and Workshops

This year, Alexa will offer over 40 technical sessions and hands-on labs at the Aria to help developers learn to design voice experiences and dive deep into the technology behind the Alexa Skills Kit and the Alexa Voice Service. Alexa sessions will have a special focus on using AWS Services to enable voice experiences. We’ll cover AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, Cognito, Elastic Beanstalk, and more. You’ll hear from senior evangelists, product leaders, and engineers, and learn best practices from Alexa developers. We’ll share more details on our sessions and workshop closer to the event.

Developers have built more than 15,000 skills with the Alexa Skills Kit. Explore the stories behind some of these innovations, then start building your own skill. If you’re serious about getting into building voice UIs, we’d like to help you explore. If you publish a skill in July, we’ll send you an Echo Dot so you can experiment and daydream. Developers in the US can also get a pair of limited-edition Alexa dev socks. Skills built using our fact template are not eligible.
