We are thrilled to introduce a new Amazon device with Alexa, Amazon’s voice service and the brain behind millions of devices.
Echo Look is a hands-free camera and style assistant that helps customers look their best. Using just their voice, customers can take full-length photos and short videos so they can see themselves from every angle and create lookbooks using the Alexa app.
Customers can also consult Style Check, a new service that combines machine-learning algorithms with advice from fashion specialists. Users can submit two photos for a second opinion on which outfit looks better based on fit, color, styling, and trends. Over time, these decisions get smarter based on customer feedback and input from specialists.
Echo Look also enables customers to access more than 10,000 Alexa skills in the Alexa skills store. This means developers now have yet another way to reach millions of customers by building for Alexa.
Start building now with the Alexa Skills Kit (ASK), a collection of self-service APIs, documentation, tools, and code samples that make it fast and easy for anyone to add skills to Alexa. Once you publish your skill, mark the occasion with a free, limited-edition Alexa dev shirt.
