We’ve grown accustomed to TV experiences where content is organized, scheduled, and presented to us in a pre-fixe menu. It’s the same shows at the same time every week, and that was OK when there were only a few channels to pick from. Today there’s an endless number of shows, channels, live and on-demand movies available at our fingertips, making it increasingly difficult to find our favorites and discover new content.
If you’re a Dish Network subscriber, or you’re thinking about becoming one, finding the perfect show or movie to fit your mood just got a lot easier with Alexa voice control. We’re excited to announce that Dish Network subscribers can now voice control their TV experience with the Hopper DVR set-top box and Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, or Echo Show—no remote required. Subscribers can change the channel, search content by actor, genre, and more. Just ask.
