The following updates have been made in the Appstore submission process and docs.

March 28, 2024 When you upload an app bundle, dynamic modules are now merged with the optimized APKs and delivered at install time. For details, see App Bundles.
October 11, 2023 The Developer Console has a new and improved app submission workflow. The six step tabbed workflow has been replaced and you can now submit your app in four steps. For details, see Submitting Apps to the Amazon Appstore.
October 4, 2023 If you submit an app bundle, client devices can now receive an optimized APK. For details, see App Bundles.
May 31, 2023 Documentation Update: Updated app porting documentation. See Port Existing Android App to Fire OS.
April 11, 2023 To get ready for privacy labels in the Appstore, you can start submitting your app's data collection information. For details, see Amazon Appstore Privacy Labels.
April 27, 2023 The Appstore added language support for Dutch, Polish, Portuguese (Portugal), and Swedish. You can now add localized descriptions in these languages. For details, see Localization options supported by the Appstore.
January 25, 2023 Documentation Update: Added clarifying information to Fire OS and Android API levels section. Specifically, minimum API level requirements are enforced for targetSdkVersion, not minSdkVersion.
September 28, 2022 Documentation Update: The developer account permissions table has been updated to be more clear on which role has permission to update the different types of app information.
July 21, 2022 getPreviousEdit API added to the app submission API. For details, see Get the previous Edit.
June 9, 2022 The app submission workflow has been updated. You can now submit your binary file in step 1 of the workflow for both new app submissions and upcoming app versions. See Submitting Apps to the Amazon Appstore.
May 18, 2022 The Appstore now supports uploading your app in the Android App Bundles (AAB) format. For details, see App Bundles.
November 1, 2021 In-app purchasing now supports the Mexico marketplace (Amazon.com.mx).
February 19, 2021 Due to requirements for Android, Amazon will enforce minimum API level requirements for Fire OS 6 and Fire OS 7. See Device Filtering and Compatibility for more information.
January 20, 2021 The Amazon Appstore sales reports added transaction identifiers (UserID, Receipt ID, and Order ID) fields, which will help you link your internal customer accounts and Amazon accounts. See Sales Reports documentation for more information about the new fields.
Sept 28, 2020 Mexico was added to the list of marketplaces where you can specify a currency for paid apps. However, Mexico does not yet support paid apps or apps with IAP items. (Any app with the IAP SDK will be blocked in Mexico — only free apps are available in the Mexico marketplace.) More details about support for Mexico appear in a note in the Charging for your apps section on Step 3: Add Appstore Details.
Aug 28, 2020 Added a Firebase Alternatives section in "Migrating An Existing App to the Amazon Appstore." This section provides Firebase alternatives, equivalents, or other options when migrating your app over to Amazon.
