When submitting the assets for your app to the Amazon Appstore Developer Portal, you’ll have the opportunity to write a description for your app on the Application Details page in the General Information section. Any information you include in the “Description” field will be sent to our team of Amazon editors, who will review your text and update it if necessary.
A successful product description should consider its audience. Be clear, honest, and straightforward about exactly what your app does. If your app is a health and fitness app that tracks calorie intake, explain how that works. Don’t make sweeping claims about how the app will save people's lives. Customers may read that as fluff.
Compelling app descriptions get these right every time: They keep things simple; use basic, clear language; and never include misspellings or incorrect grammar.
