Deprecated Features

This document lists features that are now deprecated from Alexa Voice Service (AVS).

AVS connected speaker

As of May 15, 2023, the Connected Speaker feature is no longer supported for new Alexa Buit-in product development. Developers who implemented the Connected Speaker feature in their product lines before May 15, 2023 are not affected by this deprecation and will continue to receive Amazon support.

AVS integration with AWS IoT

As of Nov 15, 2022, the AVS Integration with the AWS IoT program is no longer available.
