According to the Newzoo 2016 Global Mobile Market Report, the average revenue per paying user (ARPPU) on the Amazon Appstore is $23.40, 3.2 percent higher than the Android average.

With non-game app categories expected to reach $22.5Bn globally by 2020 (a 30.2% Compound Annual Growth Rate), the report suggests that these non-game publishers should look to mobile game publishers for insights on monetization strategies and metrics (ARPPU, conversion and retention rates).
