Amazon Dash Replenishment Service (DRS) has launched a new contest on hackster.io!
As Amazon looks to create the next generation of unique customer experiences built around DRS, we have a challenge for the developer community: create something great that helps advance the DRS vision of automatic or low-friction product replenishment.
You can build a customer-facing connected device, create new use cases for the DRS APIs, or innovate around foundational building blocks like sensors and communication modules.
Launched in 2015, DRS provides connected devices with direct access to Amazon’s powerful retail platform. With easy-to-use APIs, device manufacturers can take advantage of Amazon's authentication and payment systems, customer service, and fulfillment network to build unique automatic reordering experiences for customers—like a Whirlpool washing machine that reorders laundry detergent before the last load.
To participate, check out the contest and submit your new idea.
We are excited to see all of the great ideas that you come up with!
