Leor Grebler is co-founder and CEO of Unified Computer Intelligence Corporation (UCIC), a company dedicated to bringing voice interaction to hardware. Its initial product, Ubi – The Ubiquitous Computer, was a voice activated computing device that offered instant access to information and control of home automation devices. Ubi was one of the first products to offer natural environment-based voice interaction. UCIC has since transitioned to engineering services and tools for implementing voice, especially Alexa Voice Service.

Leor and the UCIC team built the Ubi Portal Voice Prototyping Tool, which allows one to quickly test voice interaction with services and devices with the Amazon Echo. With the "Lessons" tool on portal.theubi.com, someone can build rules that can be mapped to different outputs: a speech utterance back through the Echo or an Alexa-enabled device; an email or text message; control of dozens of Internet connected; or an HTTP request from a web server. This can allow someone to very easily build a proof of concept around voice interaction on Echo with their service before implementing their own service with the Alexa Skills Kit. Leor steers UCIC towards its goal of making interaction with technology more human and natural.
