Following our recent launches in France, Italy, and Spain, Amazon Alexa is excited to announce that we are further expanding the Alexa Voice Service (AVS) capability bringing Spanish language Alexa experiences to customers in Mexico.

Original Design Manufacturers Calix and Gemtek, two smart home connectivity solutions with Alexa built-in, have recently been added to our qualified white-box designs for AVS. This enables device makers to leverage complete designs that are pre-integrated with technologies needed to enable Alexa.

We’re excited to announce that device makers building with the Alexa Voice Service can create fully integrated solutions, so their products can be registered with Alexa for Business and managed as shared devices in organizations.
